January 2020 Lunch ‘n Learn – Metal Roof Design and Implementation
IIBEC – Canadian Prairies is hosting a Lunch ‘n Learn talk on “Metal Roof Design and Implementation” at the Calgary Construction Association. Some of the objectives of this talk will include:
• Explaining what slope requirements are required for different systems, and the limitations of the same.
• Why numerous recent project designs are beginning to fail.
• The difference between assemblies and their impact on the NECB requirements
• Some solutions for meeting the new Energy Code requirements for new construction projects.
This talk is also a follow-up to Stephen Teal’s January 2013 article in Interface.
