Join us for an IN PERSON talk, on Non-Standard Waterproofing and Other Issues.
Overview: A walk through of the various challenges facing below grade waterproofing installations on existing buildings and the need to react to the scenarios uncovered. Main learning objectives are as follows:
- Demonstrate difficult lap/tie-ins from when only partially replacing waterproofing membranes.
- Discuss and strategize how to improve decision making and detailing once concealed conditions are exposed.
- Navigating the change process and what that means for long-term performance.
This talk is being presented by Jonathan Maynard, P.Tech.(Eng.), Dipl. Arch., BA. This Lunch ‘n Learn is good for 1 CEH.
About the presenter:
Jonathan Maynard is the Alberta General Manager of The Restorers Group Inc. Jonathan has 14 years in the existing building construction industry. Prior to joining The Restorers Group who specializes in general contracting existing building restoration, he spent seven (7) years at a building envelope engineering firm. Jonathan is past president of the IIBEC Canadian Prairies chapter (2013) and formerly held the RRO designation.
